About the Wound Center:

The Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at EMH provides care to patients suffering from chronic or non-healing wounds that have not improved with conventional treatment options.

Types of Wounds treated at our Center include:

Ulcers

Wound and bone infections

Surgical wounds

Diabetic wounds

Tissue damage form radiation therapy

Traumatic wounds

Gangrene

Edema

Failed skin graft

With treatment now available at EMH Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Center, patients with wound issues no longer have to suffer or travel out of town for care. Staffed with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses and technicians who have advanced training, our team is able to customize a plan of care , specific to each patient, for the most effective treatment.

Hyperbaric Chamber:

Our Center features a hyperbaric chamber offering hyoerbaric oxygen therapy. During treatments, patients breathe 100% oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. This increased concentration of oxygen in the blood stream promotes faster healing, ultimately producing healthy tissue.
